When the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve, we said goodbye to 2015 – and hello to a fresh new round of resolutions. Can you guess which one ranks #1 for most people? “Lose weight,” of course. (FUN FACT: “Learn a new language” and “floss” both made the top 10.) Sadly, watching what you eat can put a serious damper on dining out with family and friends.

But not at our place.

We have plenty of resolution-friendly options, but let’s focus on one category today. Yes, we’re talking about salads. No, they will not make you want to cry into your oh-so-sensible plate. In fact, a great salad has all the makings of a great meal. Tasty? Check. Fresh produce? Check. Hearty and flavorful? Double check. Here are three salads that our guests especially love:

Santa Fe Salad

This salad doesn’t know it’s a salad. You get a dish piled high with grilled and seasoned chicken breast, mixed greens, black beans, hot Pepper Jack cheese, tomato, purple onions, chopped peppers and BBQ vinaigrette. We top it with tortilla strips, too, because yum.

Cobb Salad

Protein lovers, rejoice! You can fuel up (and cut carbs) with turkey breast, bacon, Cheddar cheese, tomato, olive salad, hard-boiled egg, peppers and avocado on a bed of mixed greens. Choose your favorite dressing. We have lots.

Simple Salad

Okay, technically this is more of a salad-y salad. But our go-to standby is still a happy surprise. We treat you to a bigger-than-expected bowl of crisp iceberg and romaine lettuce, tomato, tri bell peppers, purple onion, carrot and your favorite dressing. It pairs perfectly with our house-made soups and chili for lunch or dinner.

BONUS: Fresh Fruit Salad Cup

If you’re looking to swap out fries for something a little less, uh, fried, this is a great choice. A nice side of fresh, colorful fruit is pretty AND delicious. Win-win!
