It all started in 1989 when businessman Ed Moore and Chef Paul Bash opened The Purple Cow on Cantrell Road in Little Rock. That original location - modeled after classic diners of the 50s - was a hit, and was soon followed by a second spot. In 2007 the founders retired, transitioning the beloved Cow to businessman Philip Tappan and chef Todd Gold, who opened a new Hot Springs location in 2010.
It's been more than twenty years, but The Purple Cow is staying true to its much-loved roots. The décor is still classic. The atmosphere is still nostalgic. The food is still fantastic. And you know what? We wouldn't have it any other way.
